Caswell State Park Emergency Response and Multibenefit Project Plan

Project Lead: CA State Parks

Short Project Description:
This project will prepare an emergency flood response and multibenefit project plan for Caswell State Park. Previous floods at Caswell almost extirpated endangered riparian brush rabbits, so improved flood management capabilities at the park can protect both recreational and ecological resources. River Partners and California State Parks have a Memorandum of Understanding to develop multibenefit projects at Caswell, but the plan will also identify additional institutional arrangements necessary for improved flood management and emergency response capabilities.

Project Cost $250,000
