Short Project Description:
For the entire San Joaquin River basin,

1. conduct a multi-year monitoring program,
2. develop a reach‐based sediment budget and conceptual model of sediment processes, and then
3. develop one or more sediment transport models and analyze transport processes to develop sediment management recommendations at a basin‐wide scale.

$2.5 - 5 million for Phase 1, assuming a 5-year monitoring effort and analysis of monitoring conducted in Years 1 and 5.
